International Maritime Consulting
International maritime consulting firm composed of senior Master Mariners, Chief Engineers, and command-level professionals with decades of global operational experience.
Sea Corps Maritime Group brings together the most experienced maritime professionals in the industry — principals who have operated at the command level across every major vessel sector and jurisdiction worldwide.
Master Mariners and Chief Engineers of Unlimited Tonnage. Our principals hold the maritime industry's top certifications and have operated across commercial shipping, superyachts, expedition vessels, offshore industries, and government operations.
From the sun-drenched waters of the Mediterranean and Caribbean to the frozen extremes of the Antarctic and the Arctic, from West Africa to Southeast Asia — we have operational experience in the world's most challenging maritime environments and jurisdictions.
Where assignments demand silence, Sea Corps delivers it. Our principals hold an active Secret Clearance issued by the U.S. Department of Defense — bringing defense-grade standards of security and confidentiality to vessel arrests, contested environments, legal proceedings, and any engagement where exposure is not an option.
From vessel management and refit supervision to expert witness testimony and crisis response — we provide the full spectrum of command-level maritime expertise.
We manage vessels the way we operate them — with command-level oversight across crewing, compliance, maintenance, and logistics. Drawing on a track record that spans successful vessel sales and charter placements across the commercial, superyacht, and expedition sectors, we offer owners a single point of contact for every aspect of their asset.
Shipyards work for the yard. We work for you. Our principals provide hands-on supervision of complex refit projects and newbuilds across Europe and the Americas — ensuring specifications are met, budgets are defended, and nothing gets missed between the contract and the water.
Maritime legal proceedings require technical expertise that most lawyers don't have and most mariners can't articulate. Our principals bring deep working knowledge of marine insurance, P&I coverage, underwriting practice, and admiralty matters — available for instruction by legal teams requiring credible, qualified maritime expertise.
Crew turnover is one of the most disruptive and costly problems a yacht owner faces. Over twenty years of placements aboard some of the world's most respected yachts, we've built a track record of retention that reflects how carefully we match crew to vessel and owner. We also maintain deep, long-standing relationships with commercial unlimited tonnage officers for owners whose needs extend beyond the yacht sector.
SOLAS, MLC, ISM, ISPS — we were navigating these waters before the mandates existed. Three decades of relationships with flag state authorities including the Marshall Islands, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and the USCG, and close ties with principal surveyors at Lloyd's, ABS, and DNV, give our clients a compliance partner with reach and standing that goes well beyond the checklist.
Our Chief Engineers of Unlimited Tonnage provide Owner's Representative oversight across the full scope of marine propulsion — main engine rebuilds and replacements including crankshaft, cylinder head, and turbocharger work; shaft line renewals covering shafting, bearings, and stern tube; propeller replacement and re-pitching; and bow thruster and azimuth thruster overhauls and retrofits. We coordinate OEM technical representatives, class surveyors, and insurance surveyors — keeping your project on time, on budget, and fully class-certified.
Our principals have led some of the most complex and sensitive maritime operations of the past decade — across commercial, superyacht, offshore, and government sectors.
Owner's Representative oversight of a major refit program at a leading South Florida shipyard — main engine rebuilds, generator overhauls, stabilizer fin servicing, and full interior and exterior refurbishment.

2022The following reflects feedback received by our principals during active engagements.
"Immediately upon my arrival, and over the course of events, I was struck by his professionalism, enthusiasm, dedication, integrity, character and knowledge. He easily related to all of the crew members, technicians and extra numeraries on board the vessel. He proved themselves to be very conscientious and efficient in the performance of his administrative duties and was both knowledgeable and competent in the performance of his professional duties while in command of the vessel."
"He improved interagency relationships and strengthened partnerships with outside organizations during his interactions with the two assigned Military Sealift Command officers, who were aboard to train the crew to operate during hostilities (Contested Maritime Environment - CME). Together, they planned training for the entire crew, synchronizing ship operations with the need to complete the required CME training. As a result, the crew received quality training that will make them more effective in future strategic sealift operations."
